    A wellness care doula is a non-medical professional who supports another individual through a significant health-related experience through using integrative and complimentary therapies. A doula may also provide support to the caregivers or family and friends.

    An end of life doula provides non-medical support and comfort to the dying person and their family, which may include education and guidance as well as emotional, spiritual, or practical care, from as early as initial diagnosis through bereavement.
